The 2021 NFL Draft

This years NFL draft should be one to remember due to the fact that there are many highly anticipated prospects. That includes Trevor Lawrence, the most talked about quarterback coming out of college in a long time. The 6’6, five star recruit coming out of high school is basically a lock to go number one to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, there are many potential generational talents other than Lawrence. This years quarterback draft class specifically including the likes of Zach Wilson from BYU, Justin Fields from Ohio State, Trey Lance from North Dakota State and Mac Jones from Alabama. All 4 of these, along with Lawrence, are expected to go in the first round. While these quarterbacks are very talked about, the rest of the offensive class shouldn’t go unnoticed. The Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith is a wide receiver from Alabama that should go within the top ten. He had over two-hundred yards as well as three touchdowns. While Smith is arguably the most talked about receiver in the draft, is he the best? He will compete with Ja’Marr Chase from LSU, Jaylen Waddle from Alabama, Kadarius Toney from Florida and Rashod Bateman from Minnesota. As well as arguably the second best player in the entire draft in Kyle Pitts. Pitts is an all around tight end from Florida and is almost guaranteed to be a top ten to fifteen pick.

Any hole your team has, this draft class will fill it. It has size, speed, strength, offensive and defensive weapons, anything and everything. Will your team make the right decision? We will have to wait until April 29th to find out.
