Soccer Season was filled with so many exciting moments, from Jaden first Varsity Goal to becoming District Champions for the 4th time in Northland history. This was a very memorable season with many wins and lots of vibes throughout the season.
The Cougars started Pre-Season off with a bang with 2 wins right off the bat; then they hit a couple of tough weeks, but then we won 3 in a row. They brought that momentum from the last 3 games to district, and started with a 9-0 win! That kind of win kept the motivation going into the next game: a big game against Brazos Christian, and they demolished them with a score of 5-1. Some wins later, they were still undefeated and had the chance to become District Champions. It was a struggle at the start, then the Cougs turned on the gas, and ended up winning the game 7-0.
This Season the boys needed everybody from the JV to the Varsity starters, as it was a year filled with a lot of adversity as there were so many injuries and players out for different reasons. Still, it was amazing for all, as there were so many JV Players from last year getting in a lot of minutes, and being crucial for the team to have this amazing season.
Not only was the team amazing on the field, this team had a special bond and chemistry like no other team in past years. This team will be remembered for years to come, and the returning players will be back next year ready to get even better!
