What, Northland got a sand volleyball court? After the season is over volleyball players have to wait a long long time until they get back on the court. But since we got a new addition to our campus, the players have been getting back into the grove of touching the ball.

Sophomore Grace Trevino says, “I love the sand court! It’s going to take time to adjust to it, but it’s so much fun!” The sand court is a lot of fun, and you don’t even have to be good to play on it. Also sophomore Rachel Gidden says, “During the season I liked to do pancakes and dive for the ball, but I can’t do that in the sand. I’ll hurt myself.”

Hopefully we get to have some students and faculty play on the new sand court soon!
