Football Going to State
November 9, 2016
Over the year’s, Northland’s football team has been so successful and has had so many achievements. The Cougars have had an amazing football season so far and expect to keep going strong to win state. So far, Northland is undefeated and they are currently district champions. They still have a few games to figure out if they make it to state. But, the Cougars have it in the bag.
Two of the freshman players on the team, Brady Kraner and Peyton Fennelly, had a lot to say about the football team and the road to state.
When asked how they feel about winning district, Brady said, “I feel very very excited!”.
Peyton agreed and added, “….i feel like it’s just the beginning of our accomplishments.”
There is still games to decide wether or not the football team is going to state but, when asked if they think they could make it they both replied yes for these reasons, Brady, “We’ve been playing really well and our team is amazing.” Peyton, “…because we work the hardest and we get there by doing what we’ve done since week one and be ourselves.”
Because the football team does so much hard work and dedicates themselves to this sport, we have a lot of success. The Cougars will definitely make it to state with the right mentality and skill.
Make sure to come cheer on the Cougars this Thursday at Cougar Stadium at 7pm! Go Cougars!
