Where Will Obama Care End Up In The Hands of Trump?

With Trump now in office, we see a lot of things that have started to change and as a country, we ask ourselves if he’ll live up to his promises. One particular concern of both political parties is Obama Care. His statements were very vague about this ‘new plan’, but He did promise to repeal Obama Care. He has said, “We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump told The Washington Post. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.””[They] can expect to have great health care. It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better,” he said. This sounds great, but will it work?

Trump has gone very back and forth on if he’s just going to repeal Obama Care or just modify it. Many people have different views on what he should do, but he has just signed an executive order to head in the path towards completely repealing Obama Care. After interviewing a student and high school teacher, they both came to the conclusion that it would be very difficult to start from scratch on a completely new health care plan and that it might make things easier to just modify Obama Care. Even though it does have flaws, a lot of work went into it and it may be better to pick it’s flaws and go from there. But since Trump has a different agenda, our only hope can be that as he promises, everyone has access to affordable healthcare.
