The Patriots Historic Comeback

Brysen Thomas, reporter

Tom Brady led the Patriots to an historic comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI (51).The whole first half nothing could go the Patriots way, being down 21-0 at one point and Tom Brady threw his first pick 6 in a super bowl. By halftime the Patriots managed to get a field goal on the board and went into the locker room at the half down 21-3.  After being down 28-3 late in the 3rd quarter Tom Brady switched on another mode and became unstoppable. The comeback was sparked with the diving potentially greatest catch in Super Bowl history by Julien Edelman. The Patriots managed to comeback and tie the game 28-28 at the end of the 4th and it was time for overtime. The Patriots won the toss in overtime and selected to receive the ball. Tom Brady led his offense to go  about 80 yards. Then they were at the 1-yard line on 2nd down and Tom Brady handed it off to James White and he ran it in for the 1 yard touchdown! The whole crowd went crazy and it was insane. I would know because I was there!!! “Greatest comeback of all time!”- Peyton Fennely “It was rigged.”- Noah Singsayachek
