Thanksgiving!

Emily Yu, Writer

During the Thanksgiving day, all family will have dinner together and reunite. It is a common custom of Thanksgiving.

And this custom is from the first time British setters came to America. In the fall of 1621, British settlers who came to the new world to the new world, and to thank god for the harvest, held three days of carnival. From then on, the custom continued and became popular everywhere. Then they worked and farmed and they had a big bumper. So they had a really happy dinner together to celebrate it. And all people thanked the bumper and their hard working. So the big dinner is a really important custom during thanksgiving. We thank god almighty for his blessings on Canada and the rich harvest.

Not only thanking to God, but also our family and friends. That is also the reason that we have dinner with our family. It is a good chance to be thankful to our parents and they help, love and are care of us forever. Dinner can help us talk to your family and we can use this dinner to get together to share stories that you have experience.  Thanksgiving Day is a happy celebration, a time for family reunion, a time to regroup friendship.

Big dinner is a custom for thanksgiving, but its real meaning is saying thanks to every person who has helped you before and people who you love.
