Visting the Harbour City.

Visting the Harbour City.

Nanaimo, a small city in Canada, is located in the British Columbia district along the coast on an island. And it is where I will be visiting during this year of the springs break.

For those people that have not gotten enough cold in Houston this year, that’s the place to be, not only that, the view is beautiful there, too. When you google the city of Nanaimo, you will notice that it was formally called the “Harbour City” and it is now known as the “Hub City”. That statement must be true since I was told to be expecting an hour ride by a boat, and obviously there are scheduled rides for transportation boat every half and hour 24/7. Also, there is a Chinatown in that small city of only 90,000 people. Founded during the gold-rush in 1860s, it has change its location three times for many reasons, and will be a site to visited when I am there.

When being ask upon, Junior Lexi Zhang said: “All I have in mind when think of Canada are maple syrup, aurora, and Penguins. Do they have Penguins in Canada?”
