Recently, Facebook is facing a terms violation crisis. A ex-emplyee from a data analysis company, Cambridge Analytica, name Christopher Wylie lately just reported a crime likely action done by Facebook during the U.S. election to the public and the press, and this could possibly  be a deeper scandal of the presidential election. According to this 28 years old young man, during the time of election, the company Cambridge Analytica used the personal informations provided by Facebook of around 500 millions users for analysis of voting preference for the election in order to either changed or encouraged the users’ votes. This, as stated by many users, has violated the term of use, and Facebook has cross the lawful line by releasing private personal informations to other companies.

The company of Cambridge Analytica did this, however, through some quite easy steps. Just by stalking each user’s most commonly click pictures and liked items. The company could often easily tell what of kind political preference the users have and influence their minds.

However, many were not surprised by this news, other than the fact that it is easy to tell that our personal information on social media based on the fact that they are always promoting the pictures and events we are interested in, Facebook is probably but most definitely not the only company who release our information to the public, Facebook just happens to be the first one to get discovered.

The debate as for how much can a internet company release its users’ information remains as Facebook face some serious charges against it.
