The situation in Korea Peninsula has been hostile ever since the Korean War, and it has always been a global issue ever since the North Korean leaders set their primary goal of the nation as to develop nuclear weapons. The tension between the nations North Korea and the U.S. has also been the main reason why North Korean’s nuclear program has been an issue.

But recently, actions between the North and South Korea has suggested that the action of peace talk might be possible. First of, the South and North Korea have both closed down the propaganda broadcasts they send to each other at the borders. And a summit meeting is happening for the leaders of both Koreas to talk.

Sophomore Emma Ma commented : “Ehhh, Let me think. This is good, it’s one more step towards the world peace”

Senior Zhu Lei commented: “North Korea is trying to release tensions directed at them.”
