Year In Review

Alli Fordyce, Writer

As Charles Dickens once said, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” This accurately sums up this past school year. From choir concerts to football games to pits of depression, senior year couldn’t have been any better.

As it comes to an end, I’m reminded to reflect upon the memories I made with the people I love. Four years of cheer ended and I must honestly say, I laugh most when I’m with the girls on the cheer team. Captaining alongside my dear friend Grace Gilliland made the experience even more enjoyable than I could have ever imagined.

No night compares to prom at the Aquarium. Not only did we dance the night away, we went on the rides that overlooked the beautiful view of Downtown Houston. Afterwards, my friends and I ate breakfast at 12 am and enjoyed each other’s company with a scary movies.

In conclusion, senior year exceeded my expectations and was filled with many treasured memories that I’ll never forget.
