NCS Varsity Volleyball Labor Day Practice

Monday, September 7th, at Northland Christian School, varsity volleyball players were called to a practice. Who doesn’t want to go to state in the sport that they play? If you want to achieve that goal of being state championships, you have to put in the work. That’s exactly what the NCS volleyball team did.

Everyone arrived around eight thirt
y to nine o’clock. Once we all got there, we sat in a circle and talked about our weekends and the fun stuff we did. After a little while, we went outside to stretch and do our conditioning for the day. We ended up speed walking one lap, then running two laps around the track. Coach gave us a little break to get water and compose ourselves again, then we did more inside things like abs and legs.

After we finished conditioning, we practiced for an hour and a half. We did the basics and practiced hitting, serve receive, and serving. Towards the end of practice we scrimmaged against each other just for more practice.
