As you might have noticed, I’ve rebranded my column to Joel’s Hole. This is now my hole and thats what I’m gonna call it.

So, why are Houston sports fans so ratchet. Maybe its just because I’ve really only been exposed to a few fandoms in my life but in my experience, Houston fans have 0 calm. I don’t know why though. Maybe its just because they love their team enough to act crazy all the time or what but its pretty high energy at least on the football side.

The basketball side tough isn’t as bad but i think its cause Houston is mostly a football city. Also, I’m not saying that being loud and hyped while watching a football game is a bad thing but its definitely something that sticks out to me.
