It might be a good idea going back to work
April 23, 2020
As of April 20, COVID 19 had infected more than 760,000 people in the United States, with more than 40,000 deaths. The economic woes brought on by the outbreak’s weight and the fact that it is stabilizing have prompted Mr. Trump to push for an early return to work. It is not just Mr. Trump who is eager to get back to work. If Mr. Trump’s desire to return to work is more political, America’s poor are desperate to get back to work. The poor suffer more from the loss of income at home than the rich are forced to sacrifice the convenience of shopping and entertainment.
From April 13, the number of new daily deaths began to decline, and the number of critically ill patients on ventilators began to decline. “New York is over the worst,” governor Andrew Cuomo said.
Unemployment in the United States has soared since the outbreak of COVID 19. The surge in unemployment has pushed the number of people receiving unemployment insurance to 22 million.
Americans at the bottom of the heap desperately need to get back to work. So going back to work might be a good choice.
