Texas, one of the states with the highest infection and death rates from the COVID-19 Vaccine, has some good new coming its way. After almost a year of spreading from the virus with no vaccine being distributed or being released, the end of 2020 is finally promising us with a vaccine said to have an effectiveness of over 90%, and with this, a foreseeable future that returns us back to normalcy is getting more likely by the day.

“The state of Texas is already prepared for the arrival of a COVID-19 vaccine, and will swiftly distribute these vaccines to Texans who voluntarily choose to be immunized,” said Jim Abbott, and starting on the week of December 14th, this process will begin. The vaccines will firstly be distributed to providers, such as hospitals, doctor’s offices, and clinics. More doses should be coming in January, so this is only the first wave.

With the new vaccines soon being available for the public, the future is looking brighter than ever.
