Sunflower seeds, Big Chew Gum, and dinger. Do those ring a bell? Yupp, it’s officially baseball season! The team has been training and preparing for their upcoming season. The team has had two scrimmages and things are looking good so far.

Tuesday night the cougars played agaisnt HCYA, a homeschooled team. They conquered and defeated HCYA with an ending score of 14-1. Trainer Abby Williams says, “My favorite part of being a baseball trainer would have to be, being in the dugout with all the funny guys. It’s always a good time in there.”

Friday night the cougars played a school called Second Chance. They swept this school with an ending score of, who knows what? They stopped keeping track after 28-0. Player Noah Fouts says, “I got kind of bored with the game, being a pitcher only I had to find something to amuse myself for the last two hours of the game.” Come out and see Cougar Baseball at their next scrimmage on Tuesday February 9 at four o’clock!
