Homecoming overall

As this year’s homecoming approaches, Northland students are getting excited about this event. Based on a Survey taken three questions were asked. These questions were: Are you going to the homecoming dance, Do you plan on asking anyone to homecoming, and Do you think homecoming will be fun this year.

As of know there will be about 132 students in attendance. When 9th and 12th graders were asked, “Are you going to homecoming this year ?” 83.8% said they will be attending, 13.1% said they maybe attending, and 3% said they will not be attending. As the years have progressed it has seemed that nobody is asking anyone to homecoming this year based on the following question. “Do you plan on asking anyone to homecoming?” 72.4% of students said no, 14.3% said maybe, and only 13.3% of students said yes. I know my freshman year basically everyone asked each other in my grade. It is surprising to see that know nobody seems to be asking each other. The last question that was asked was, “Do you think homecoming will be fun this year?” 48.5% said maybe, 36.4% said yes, and 15.2% said no. Many aren’t sure of this because of the music.
