Imagine how Life Would be Like After Hilary or Trump Becomes the President?
November 9, 2016
The 2016 election is going on right now, many people are very excited for the new president. What would our life be like after Hilary or Trump becomes the president? To imagine this, we can base on the presidential debate and how they stand on issues.
Vision for education:
Hilary:”I believe getting off to a good start should be our children’s birthright…Every child should have the tools and the skills to thrive in tomorrow’s economy”
- Make preschool universal for every 4-year-old in America.
- Increase access to high-quality child care on college campuses by serving an additional 250,000 children.
Trump:“We need to fix our broken education system!”
- Establish the national goal of providing school choice to every one of the 11 million school aged children living in poverty.
- Ensure that the opportunity to attend a two or four-year college, will be easier to access, pay for and finish.
Comparing both of their vision, both of them will to provide the opportunity to get education for every school aged children, universal. Also, they encourage students to attend college, either two years or four years. Hilary will increase the access by serving an additional 250,000 children,Trump will make it easier to access, pay for and finish. They both attach importance to education.
About immigration:
Hilary: “…We can’t wait any longer for a path to full and equal citizenship.”
- Significantly increase federal resources for adult English language education and citizenship education.
- Create a national Office of Immigrant Affairs to ensure successful immigrant and refugee integration in every community.
Trump:10 Point Plan to Put America First:
- Begin working on an physical wall on the southern border,on day one.Mexico will pay for the wall.
- Anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of his country.
On the issue of immigration Hilary and Trump have totally different perspective.Hilary is trying to make citizen equal and help adult with English learning, ensure the community have both immigrant and refugee. Trump plans to put American fist and build a border so no one can come in without promote.

What do you think?
Coach Van Hook:I find both candidates morally reprehensible for a variety of reasons.
Also, both candidates have policies that I support, and policies that I don’t support.
Now that Trump has won the presidency, there are pros and cons that this nation must reconcile.
Personally, Trump has “promised” tax breaks and changes to our healthcare system that benefit the middle class (where I currently reside), and I agree with those. However, Trump has shown himself to be volatile and defensive when pressed or when he does not get his way.
His quick temper and hostility give me a great deal of concern because our relationships with other countries are fragile. Our country is divided across socioeconomic and racial lines, and Trump’s rhetoric on both of these fronts worries me.
