A few weeks ago, America was shook and the chicken tender community was quaking. McDonald’s, America’s sweetheart, released something that they thought could possibly be the next phenomenon, chicken tenders. After a ten year break of releasing new permanent items to their menu, McDonald’s released their buttermilk chicken tenders which they thought were going to be the next chicken nuggets.

Honestly, these chicken tenders were being hyped up too much my McDonald’s. Ever had a chicken tender? That is exactly how they taste like and there was no surprise or special element. McDonald’s infamous chicken nuggets will forever be my favorite and everyone’s favorite because of their unique taste. It’s kind of like this, when you have something you absolutely love for so long, something new is sometimes risky and scary. That was a very deep analysis on chicken nuggets but, it was affective.

Senior Connor Rebhorn, commented on these chicken tenders, “They’re nothing special, really.” As we can see, although McDonal’s probably had good intentions with coming out with these buttermilk chicken tenders, it was a no from me. Try them out for yourself and decide wether or not these strips of chicken are the new chicken nuggets.
