It’s week away from the first official legal sale of Marijuana in Texas. Hopefully no one in the school is excited for it. But After two years when our lawmakers legalized the use of this drug for epilepsy patients, Texas now has licensed Knox Medical, a local company, to operate and dispense the drug.

The Knox COO said that he would never thought in a million years that he would be growing weed. And if everything goes on track, the company would be starting selling weed in December.

While there are some obvious advantages in the medical usage of the drug, the con side of it remains significant. In fact, the first report of cannabis overdose also happened this week. A 11 month old boy was reported dead in a hospital when he came in that morning with seizure. So the phrase of the legalization of marijuana in the country could potentially be reconsider by those lawmakers after this.

But, no matter what people think, weed is going legitimate in Texas anyway.
