For many of those who don’t know, track season is about to begin. For one person specifically, Abbie Wietstruck, a freshman at Northland, is excited about this coming season.

“I am looking forward to running with a team again because it is boring to run by yourself😂 The community in sports is really nice so it will be fun to have that again. My goal this year is to try and break the 3200 record (this is going to be very difficult though😂)or just PR. Lastly, I am just super excited for track this year!”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Abbie, she is one of the best long distant runners we have had at Northland! With a super successful beginning in Cross Country, she is sure to do well this season.
