This was a big year for country music.  So many artists wrote so many good songs.  Some of the most popular artists in 2019 were Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, Jon Pardi, and Zac Brown Band.  Those are just a handful of the many great artists that released excellent albums and singles this year.

The top songs listened to in 2019 represent all the different types of country.  The top 5 songs in America were 10,000 Hours, One Man Band, Even Though I’m Leaving, The Bones, and Old Town Road.  Some other top ranked songs were songs like God’s Country, Tennessee Whiskey, Remember You Young, and Beautiful crazy.  These songs had all the country music lovers in America turning up the radio and rolling down the windows when their tune started playing on the radio.

A lot of people have a specific type of country that they like.  I asked Justin what his favorite Artist and song was.  He said, “There has been a lot.  Dan + Shay is probably my favorite.  Speechless is my favorite song.” I also asked Maddie who her favorite song and artist was and she said, “Kacey Musgraves is my favorite artist.  Butterflies is my favorite song because it is a classic.” As you can see, a variety of country music is loved by many people.  All the songs mentioned made 2019 the year it was.
