United States have been under pressure in the media lately over conflicts with Iran. There have been many ideas over should we have done it or not but in this just talking about the US draft if it were to happen.

In 1969, there was a draft for the Vietnam war. First, the President and Congress would have to authorize a draft. Then, there would be a lottery of those aged 18-26. Only men can be drafted into the war. Then, there are mental and physical evaluations to see if you are able to be in war. Then, after about 3 months the men are finally ready for war.

The draft won’t happen but if it did, this is what you need to know about it.
