Spring is upon us and my mom is taking her time off of work to plant vegetables and flowers for the spring. She has planted many flowers around the trees to make them look nice.

She planted many different vegetables including tomatoes, squash, zucchini, and different types of peppers. She loves gardening and waters them everyday in the evening. She takes the vegetables and always makes something great for dinner with them.

My dad and I had to shovel all of the mulch out of the truck while she napped but after we did that she did the rest by planting and watering them. My dad built her garden for her birthday last year so she could a secure place. I’m sure when I get back from college next year, the whole backyard will be a garden.
