Go Play Outside!

With society being so dependent on technology, the world never thought it would be able to get us to go outside and play like we used to. Thanks to the virus, going outside is pretty much the only source of outside entertainment available. Staying inside has made a lot of people go a little crazy, and make people desperate to leave the house! Thankfully, there is one activity we are still allowed to do: go outside!!

A great way to get yourself out of the house is to go to the park! The swings and picnic tables are not available, but the field is. Meet up with some friends, (stay 6 feet apart!) and toss around the frisbee, or play a game of volleyball! It’s such a fun time and is a great way to get out of the house.

An amazing benefit to going outside is what it does for your health! Just walking outside can improve your blood pressure, boost mental health, and decrease cancer risk according to Business Insider. Medical Daily says that just 15 minutes outside will increase Vitamin D. Being out in the sun leads to better concentration, increased alertness, less anxiety, better sleep, and the list goes on! There are so many benefits to being outside and this is a great time to experience them!

So go outside! It’s a great way to leave the house and has so many benefits. Plus, the view is great! Enjoy a sunset or sunrise, or even just lay down and watch the clouds. You won’t regret it!
