Texas A&m is ranked 5th in the nation with there football program as they have moved up the rankings this year. To get to the playoffs they will need to get 4th place or less by the end of  the regular season.

To get to #4 which is only 1 rank away is very hard to do for the Aggies, though it is very possible. A lot of things would need to happen for that though.The items which are within the Aggies’ control are that they have just one loss and that they are considered the best Power 5 team not in that group because they beat Florida.”I think they could get in this year they are looking pretty good and worthy” – said Aldo. So if a top 4 teams loses too a lesser ranked school  and A&M continues to win there games and wins every one of there last couple of games then they should get in. There is also a lot of stuff that they cannot control to get into the playoffs, like teams winning and losing different games.

Texas A&M has a very good chance to make the top 4 this year and get into the college playoff. Altought a lot of stuff needs to happen and its hard they still could make it.
