school is supposed to keep you in the 9-5 mentality. When asking about things we need to learn in life like how to get good credit or how to do taxes.  Why don’t we do things like that in schools. My mom is a very successful person, but if I ask her about the pythagorean theory she couldn’t tell me to save her life. That’s why I think school is bad in some aspects. So No i am not motivated in school not like I used to be in like 5th-8th learning fractions and how to divide them and things those are things that might get used in the real world now the things we learn kids don’t care to retain because in all of my almost 17 years of life i haven’t seen one person use pythagorean theory in the real world.

What motivates me is the thrill of finishing college and getting a degree. Never mind that, when I pay all my college debt. And trying to earn a basketball scholarship. So school is free because it costs too much for an average education. How am I going to be a successful person trying to learn from someone that doesn’t inspire me. Like I don’t want to be a math teacher or work a 9-5 so why would I enjoy learning from someone that is?

 My most motivational coach was probably no one and teachers aren’t motivational to me. A coach either likes what you do or doesn’t like what you do. But no matter how hard you work when times get tough people revert back to they’re old ways no matter how motivated they were. So i don’t believe in that stuff either you have the right attitude towards life or you just go through the motions no one is going to change that. I am self motivated if you have to rely on someone else to pick you up your set yourself up for failure because that person doesn’t care about you. They will only motivate you for their own benefits. Notice how a coach doesn’t pay mind to the worst players because he knows they aren’t going to help HIM OR HER win.
