Where and Why You Should Fly Planes

Marcos Bell, Writer

Flying can be seen as a sport, hobby, and a lifestyle. Many years of hard work and experience can usually pay off in the long run in aviation. Flying breaks down to the simplest of forms as like a plane gliding from one place to another, or a plane going at crazy speeds, really low while mongering through tight spots. While it may seem hard to do it really isn’t so bad.

Piloting is usually started in the age range of 17-20, but can go on after that too. The learning process may be agony, just like any other school; however the flying portion is fun and adventurous, as one can see the world from above, and not have to worry about problems in their life, as they are concentrated on flying the metal birds we see in the skies. Learning about planes starts by usually joining a school program, or even self teaching with YouTube, books, or colleagues. Most people usually self teach themselves as it is not expensive and are not required to follow a syllabus or a time period of some sort.

Like many schools they come with tests. Learning to fly you are required to go take exams like, a medical exam, a written exam, and a flying exam. These tests are to see whether or not a person is physically prepared for flying and knowledgable of how the airplane works, and showing how it works, by physically flying with an examiner. If one is interested in flying it is recommended that you speak with a flight school at a small regional airport, before continuing so you can understand what requirements are needed and to see how dedicated one is.

With all being said, Learning to fly for fun at a young age, can lead on into a carrier opening new opportunities you cannot access without the small experience one does not have. Starting jobs for flying range from $40,000-$65,000, and maximising salaries range from $120,000-$350,000. The salary involved in the carrier usually grabs the attention of a young hustler to quickly change their train of thought. Flying is a fun and unforgettable experience when flying from behind the controls, and pays off later in life with happiness and success!
