The 2020 NFL season was not stopped by covid-19 but The 2021 NFL combine has been canceled this year at the stadium in Indianapolis. The  NFL combine is a 2-3 day event which allows  select college football players to showcase there skills in front of many NFL coaches.

This is a big deal for everyone who gets the opportunity to addend since it can raise there draft rating and help them get drafted at all.  It is a place where 100s of second can be worth millions so it is a very big deal.Any workouts will take place on individual pro days on college campuses. We will work with the schools to encourage consistency in testing and drills across pro days and ensure that all clubs have access to video from those workouts, irrespective of whether the club is represented at a particular workout.” This is a quote from the letter describing what will happen due to the combine being canceled. There will be many pro days at colleges with athletes. Draft Prospects will still receive invites and those players will do media interviews with  NFL media and NFL clubs . Those interviews will be done virtually. They are also working to obtain medical information about all the prospects who would ordinarily be invited to the Combine, which will include testing done at medical facilities where the  prospect is currently residing. For some people  there will be in-person follow-up examinations that likely occur in early April. Under those circumstances, each club will be allowed to send one physician and one athletic trainer to conduct those in-person exams, which will likely occur over a two or three-day period.  This is good that they are doing all this as it almost makes up for not having the real combine. The real combine is way better and a good experience for the athletes, but at least they still get showcase there skills in front of a lot of coaches. The Combine has been a staple to the offseason dating and starting  back in  1982 and moved permanently to  the Indianapolis colts stadium also known as Lucas oil stadium in 1987. Under normal circumstances, Lucas Oil Stadium would play host to not only one of the key evaluation points during the pre-draft process, but it was one of the more interactive periods between teams, which could make some offseason deals as well.

The 2021 combine has been canceled in Indianapolis this year due to corona. Although it has been canceled many colleges with prospect are having a pro day at there campus for the athletes and prospects to show of there skills to NFL coaches and others too. Although the combine was canceled prospects will still get there chance this year
