Last week, Northland played an excellent game against Pro-vision. The final score was (score here). This game has some interesting events leading up to it. Firstly, the football game was “Senior Night.” This is the time where we recognize our seniors and honor what they have done for the school, their teams, and their achievements. The game ending up being postponed to Saturday where the team played at home.
During an interview, Jake said, “I think the aura of playing on a Saturday at 12 PM caused a lack of focus with the. team. A lot of people came out flat. It was a lot hotter and sweeter than usual.” When asked about Rosehill, “I feel pretty strong, I think the team has a lot of rage to take out on the team we had a close game with last year. I also feel like we need to have a great week of practice with lots of focus. I think we need to have a aura of focus and competitiveness in order to stay focused. We need to have a aura of responsibility for our own bodies in order to stay healthy.”
This week, the cougars will be traveling up to Rosehill Christian to play for a victory. This will be a big game and a deciding factor of who they will play in the first week of playoffs. Last year, it was a close game against the cougars. Only time will tell how it will turn out this year.
