The life of a sophomore… The life of a sophomore in my opinion is a rollercoaster. You are constantly on moving, making sure your are ready to take tests, complete and present projects, play sports, keep grades up, and everything else. You are never bored that’s for sure. For a person like me, playing football, going crabbing, studying the stock market, sales, helping the Methodist trainer, and scuba diving, you have a lot to do. Yet, I seem to enjoy all the work that I do.
In my opinion, the sophomore grade level is designed to be the most difficult. You have geometry and chemistry, both classes you have to study and pay really good attention in. If you have one sick day or a day where you can just not pay attention, you will struggle to play catchup. This adds further stress for the student athletes in sports.
Overall, life is hard. Yet it is a matter of how we respond to the challenges that life throws at us that makes us better people. Even though the classes are hard, the good grades will probably look good on a transcript. I think it is a matter of how you can manage stress in the end.
