Northland Blood Drive

Northland+Blood+Drive

Don’t let the memories of the Northland blood drive die in vein. On January 13, 2016, Northland had it’s annual blood drive, a blood fundraiser meant to help those who require blood. With each blood donation saving up to three lives, there is no doubt that Northland its self saved hundreds of lives. The student council had been planning this for quite a while, and ran things quite smoothly, with no hiccups or distractions, they stayed on time for the whole day.

Not only do you get to save lives, but after you donate you can take as many snacks as you want, free drinks, and even a doughnut. But whats better than all of that you ask? Getting out of class. You were guaranteed to miss at least one period of class and if you planned it right, then you missed that one class in the day that just makes you groan of boredom.

That’s why those who donated did something greater than themselves. They saved three lives, and put themselves at risk to make sure the safety of others. This is the Northland attitude and Northland spirit. Most of all, its Plus One attitude.
