Varsity Soccer Takes on LSA

A rivalry for the headlines, the Northland Christian Cougars take on Lutheran South Academy, Monday February 1st, in what is sure to be a shootout. Fighting for the second spot in division, the boys soccer team is going to need to come into this game fighting to make sure they get what they need.

After a previous loss to LSA earlier in the season 4-2, the team has matured and improved off of this loss. Being in great form after two big wins, 11-0, 8-0, with great confidence and form they walk into this game ready to control the field and walk away with a win. Team captain Daniel Navid passionately believes ” This is going to be our game, and if we play like we have been, then there is no doubt that we will win.”

I’m sure the whole team is behind Daniel when he says this, and is each individually ready to travel to LSA, and win on their own turf. Best of luck to the Cougars, and don’t forget to support the sports.
