This past Monday, your varsity cougars took on San Antonio Christian in the first round of playoffs, with high hopes of being able to move on.

The cougars roller up stylishly in the rented charter bus, relaxed and confident, they stepped off the bus with one thing in mind, to win the game. As they began to worm up, there was a certain buzz coming from the crowd, a focus in the air, the very same focus that was was around for the last cougars win.

As the game started, the cougars took an early command of the game with a goal from Hunter Pace. With game slowly continuing, both sides battled it out in one of the most physical games the cougars have played, with captain Daniel Navid receiving a yellow card.

As the game came to an end, the cougars cheered knowing that they have made it to the next round of the playoffs. They will play The Village this Friday in a shootout rematch.
