The annual musical put on by the Northland Theatre Department is right around the corner. Next week, students from middle school to high school will gather on stage for the production of Cinderella. Working tirelessly after school in rehearsals, your fellow classmates and students will debut this magical musical for their friends and family.

The star of the show, our own Cinderella, Alaina Nguyen reveals, “I do these things [musical theatre] to make myself not only proud, but confident, and not only confident, but happy.” Each cast member has something that prompted them to join this big production

Alongside Nguyen, Jack Farrell playing Prince Charming says, “My sister is really who inspired me to get into theatre and music in general. I wouldn’t have any of the friends I do today if it weren’t for this program.” Not only do these talented kids create beautiful melodies, but they create a community within each other that lasts a lifetime.

Cinderella will debut next week on November 2nd, and will continue showing on November 4th and 5th. Tickets start at $8 for students and $10 for adults. Make sure to come support the theatre department!
