And That’s Another Cougar Victory

   This past Friday the Cougar Varsity Football team pulled out another Cougar victory against rival school the Concordia Lutheran Saders. The score in the end being 35 Cougars 21 Crusaders.

Corbin Fontana leaving nothing on the field when the clock was ticking by for halftime  to come a exciting tackle preventing the crusaders from making another touchdown. During halftime the score was only 7 Cougars and 21 Crusaders. The Saders shouldn’t have gotten so comfortable and at ease because the Cougars came back storming in the second half! They came back by the fourth quarter with a 14 point deficit the boys took the lead in the third quarter going into the fourth quarter!

The exciting last touchdown in the fourth quarter was made by senior #44 Mike Parmley taking back the ball from Concordia and making a surprising defensive touchdown. So far this past week’s game has been one of great excitement! According to Junior Michael Carballo the boys got their heads in game and played their best! Their next game is at home game against Hitchcock come out and support our cougars tailgating starts at 6 o’clock! The actual Kickoff beginning at 7:30!
