The first pep rally of the school year is this Friday! Northland’s student body is so excited to participate. The pep rally is to celebrate the first football home game and make sure the players feel hyped up and supported. The cheerleaders will preform a dance and invite all students to participate in cheers and games.

The theme of the pep rally is Out of This World. Students are excitedly making posters and prepping their hair for space buns. The cheerleaders plan to dress up like aliens and are encouraging students to do the same to show their school spirit. Whichever grade has the most school spirit will win the Spirit Stick and reign over the school until the next pep rally.

Head Cheerleader, Maddie Pallanez, says, “This is my senior pep rally so I want to go all out!” Maddie’s cheer coach, Mrs. Downey says, “Usually the first pep rally of the year is beach themed, but I am excited for a new theme! It will be fun and refreshing.” Show your school spirit at Friday’s pep rally. It will be out of this world!
