The Football game this week is on Friday, September 5th, between the Village school and Northland Christian cougars. It is at cougar field at 7 p.m. The Northland cougars lost to the Village school last year by a final second touchdown by Village to capture the game. Northland Christian has a new head coach AJ Palazzolo and a new coaching staff with 5 new coaches ready to win. Northland won last week against Galveston O’Connell 36-12. Marshall Ingram was ejected in the first half of last weeks game so that means that he is ineligible for the first half of this weeks game. Marshall Ingram says “TAPPS did a horrible job on their behalf of this situation and I am disappointed because the accusation that was made is false.” Teammate Cameron Bailes says ” It definitely puts the team at a disadvantage for the first half of the game and we look for him to spark a fire in the second half. He is our secret weapon”
