Kids hugs and embrace a boy when he returns from Hurricane Dorian.

On September 11, 2019, after the toddler survives the hurricane, he soon come back to his fellow students embracing him.

At the time, the little boy was in the Bahamas when Hurricane Dorian hit. Him and his mother was stuck in Bahamas over Labor Day weekend because of the storm. They suffered terrible damage as they stayed at the boy grandma’s house. On abcnews.org, the mother quoted, “At one point, our roof just flew open,” his mother said. “And Makai was like, ‘Oh my God.’ He thought Dorian was a monster.”

After the hurricane, Makai threw away all of his clothes and toys. The boy even wanted to put a spider man vest on and go help and serve the community. Once Makai returned to school, all of the students jumped up and started giving him hugs, saying how much they missed him.
