Homecoming court takes place at the Homecoming game during halftime. Students are picked by their involvement with the school and the way they carry themselves on a daily basis. It is a time where family and friends come together and watch you during halftime as you are being announced.

A group of students that are picked by their peers in there grade (one boy and one girl).  After making it on the Homecoming court, there are 8 seniors who are on the court. Seniors are then voted by the whole entire school that will result in king and queen.

There are many people who are on the court. Hannah Gilliand is a Senior at Northland and she states, “I love it! I think it is cool to be voted on by your peers!!” Justin Gilliland is the sister of Hannah and he states, “I don’t really have much of a feeling. Its more like neutral ,but I hope she wins!” Justin wishes the best for Hannah as she is going against other classmates. Maddie is a senior, she states, “I am excited for Friday night to be with some of my best friends.” Homecoming court is being announced Friday night during halftime to be celebrated by the whole school.
