Houston, Texas has always been a prime spot for sports in general, but especially professional sports. With the Rockets, Texans and Astros, Houston has a great following from a fan perspective in sports. There has been a lot of ups and downs throughout 2019 for Houston. This has tested the faith of many Houston fans, but they all hope that they will eventually get what they want.

The Houston Astros brought H-town so much joy throughout 2019. They were the best team in baseball for most of the year. This was one of the high points. So much excitement was brought with this team until the end of the year. The ‘stros lost the World Series in 7 games, when they had the best odds in history to win. This tested the faith of all of Houston together.  The Texans have been the same as they always have. They get the hopes of their fans up, and then let them fall. They have big wins, and then terrible losses. Finally the Rockets. They have been a solid, consistent team throughout all of 2019. They lost in the playoffs, but made a good run. James Harden showed that he is still MVP caliber, and they made a huge move by signing Russel Westbrook. There has been a lot of good throughout 2019 for Houston sports.

For Houston sports, 2019 has been a good year in all. There has been good times and bad times, but the good ones out rule the bad ones. Not many teams can say they went to the World Series or the NBA or NFL playoffs. The fact that Houston did proves a lot. H-town is a great place for sports.
