NCS baseball is coming upon us in 2020. The team has already started with their record being 1-1. The team has a few returning starters in Marshall Ingram, Cam Bailes, Peyton Fennelly, Kris Maxwell. The team got some new players Isaiah Vigil, Chance Weddington, Dylan Guillory, and freshman Ben Harrison and Stone Walker.

Coming off of a state championship, the team has a lot to prove. Winning last year has nothing to do with this year and the team needs to prove to other teams that they can hang.  The early season struggles will occur but they always do for every team even in the MLB. The team has to stick together and push through to get to the next stage.

There have been some changes this year with the coaching staff with Brian Fisher and Tyler Bremmer going to St. Thomas University. We got a new coach in coach Vigil which has helped out the staff a lot. Coach Doc Rick Nixon is the head coach for the Northland Christian Cougars.
