The film centers on a white Italian security guard from the Bronx, New York, who works as a chauffeur for eight weeks for $1,000. His boss, an elite-educated black musician, was extremely picky about life. The two toured deep into the racist south in the 1960s. The two men are completely opposite in character. But during the journey, the driver was slowly impressed by the artist’s talent and grace. The artist was finally moved by the driver’s sincerity and kindness.

Most people choose not to talk about this history. It warns the next generation not to make the same mistake again.
