It is not safe to swim in public During Covid
August 21, 2020
Since the COVID outbreak in March everyone was scared of going into the public. Most of the restaurants and stores shut down, and so did the swimming pools. People were scared of swimming during this time because they did not want to contain the virus.
Nowadays everything has begun to calm down, and some swimming pools are open for the public. However it still isn’t safe, because of how many people are coming in and out. Many people don’t abide by the rules and continue to help spread the disease, and a swimming pool is the perfect place for this.
People who are in the water may be at risk of catching the virus through the water or through the human interactions in the pool or out the pool. People will be very close together since a pool is limited on spacing, so catching it will be an easy task. Also not many people will be paying attention to their surroundings as they are focused on swimming.
