Football is finally back and there is a lot of excitement over this season.
There has been a big overhaul this season, with new coaching staff and some new players. It will be a culture-shifting year but that could also be a good thing. With coaches with experience at the high level, the players can learn lost of new things from the very best.
Football just had it’s first scrimmage last Friday, it went well for the team to get some reps in and see where they are at. It was a very different game than what we are used to. It was a very high scoring affair between the two teams. By the end of the game we didn’t even know what the score was, but we think Northland came out on top.
We spoke to one of the players and he said, “I think we will be good, but we have a very small team, so it’ll be very difficult at the same time. “. One of the teachers also said “That we want this team to go all the way this year and win it all.”
It will be a great season for the Cougars, definitely a unique one for sure. There is loads of talent on this team, we hope that they make it far into the season.
