Northland Christian will play Cypress Christian in a game later this month, after it was postponed due to weather. This will be an exciting matchup between two top teams in the district.
The Northland team is a very young and dynamic team. Many freshmen leading the way for the team as they are club players. Many believe this team has a shot at districts this year. If the younger players develop well, who knows how far they can go in the future.
Cypress is proving to be a difficult team as last year Northland tied 2-2 in an exciting game. Cypress also won 5-0 against St. Jospeph. This will be an exciting matchup for both teams. Northland started off the season with 3 scrimmages against good opponents which really are preparing them for this season.
One of the players at Northland says Cypress will be one of the biggest games of the season. The team will have to be at their very best to beat Cypress. Another player had a very similar thought to the game, saying, If we play the way we know how to, we can beat any team in our district.
According to the Northland soccer coach, we still don’t know when this game is, as of January 17th.
