The 2025-2026 school year has kicked off. The students are back, the campus is filled with life. Teachers prepare their lessons, and get back into rhythm. Everyone is anticipating an exciting year. Usually when the school year starts, there is a lot of anticipation on new things like, classes, friends, teachers, and new activities. But, there is some places or things on campus that really makes Northland unique. Let’s look at what made this school special, and continues to make it special.
Athletics has been a big focus of what Northland does. From hard summer workouts in the Sun to late night games on the field or on the court. This year is no different. The teams are not only getting ready to compete but to also make Cougar Nation Proud. Coaches work tirelessly on tactics and motivating players to bring the best out of not only 1 player but the team, with God at the center of it. This year promises to be another year of hard work, competition, and fun.
The Coffee Shop is one of the most popular places on campus. It’s filled with so many amazing drinks. The baristas do a phenomenal job at what they do. The create amazing drinks and their nice personality really brings the coffee shop to light. It’s also an amazing place to hang with friends during lunch or after school. It’s a great place to enjoy a shake, talk with friends or even do homework in a chill environment.
At Northland, the student parking lot is more than only a parking lot, it’s a place where students can show themselves off a little bit. It’s a big area of the school, and if you are just coming to Northland, you can see the creativity that NCS Students have. It’s a place students can show off what they have, or just hangout with fellow student drivers.
Northland has a great history of academics and athletics and that is demonstrated by all the awards Northland has won. There are so many Champions trophies not only for sports but for academics as well. This demonstrates the countless hours the teams or individuals put in and their hardwork. Northland hope to continue this tradition of winning things with Hardwick, dedication, discipline and faith in God.
Every place at Northland has their own story. These aren’t just cool places but they are places where students or even staff can create memories that look back on one day and cherish. Northland is bigger than a school, it’s a community. It’s where a place where people can grow and connect.
