    Northland Beats The Village School

    Northland+Beats+The+Village+School

Northland played an amazing game last week against the village school. the whole team seems to be in sync and ready to play that day. Micah Hall stood out that game as an astounding running back. Another player who has entered the spotlight was the new quarterback, Brody Butler. With the score being 54-0, it was truly an amazing game for the Northland Cougars.

From Riley Meekins, “I think the game went well but he have to play better if we want to compete against better teams. Rome Stanford was a big player in the game however two of his touchdowns got called back. I feel like we are gonna play better than how we did last week agains Trinity High. I know that we are better than Rosehill and them we are gonna have to play a great game to play against them.” According to a junior, “The game went pretty well, we executed on the things that we needed to execute on. I believe that is why we put up the points that we did. We still have a couple of things to work on but we are gonna straighten them up to play a tougher opposition this week on Friday. Micah Hall was a big key in the game and he was able to read block and find gaps that he couldn’t see before. He rewarded well with his touchdowns and yardage.”

On the day of 9-8-23, the Northland football team will be playing against Trinity Christian Academy on their home field. This will be a big game for the varsity team. Let’s hope that the team is ready to fight these Trinity Eagles. We all shall see what this game of football brings us.
