Football+Team+Fighting+in+Playoffs

The Northland football came came out with an astonishing victory with the score being 61-6 against NBCA. Even though it was a wet game, the team played very well. There were many great plays, picks, and touchdowns made that night. It was certainly a good win for the cougars.

A comment from a junior said, “The game went absolutely perfect and we showed everything we wanted on the scoreboard. Jake Eden came clutch on defense and put up the points we needed to out up.” When asked about the upcoming game he said “I feel alright, this game is going to be a well fought game. As well as that we have a chance to go to the next round.”

This week, the team will be facing off against Central Texas Christian Academy. Both teams currently have an excellent record. This game will determine to goes farther in the playoffs and how much the cougars have improved over the season. It is a win or go home type situation.
