Northland Christian is back underway for 2024/2025 school year. There have been some new changes and faces added to the school this upcoming school year.
Some new staff have appeared on campus this year. One of them is the new assistant principle, Mr. Begnoche. He has come here from Cypress, he seems to be very hardworking, but chill person. We hope that he will make great impact towards the school. Another new edition on the sports side is new Head Football Coach, Michael Lewis. He is a very smart and experienced person when it comes to Football. Mr. Lewis has experience in the NFL, even being and All-Pro Kick Returner. He has made it his mission to get the best out of the Football Boys, and build them up on and off the field.
With the coming of new staff members, new rules have taken place. One of the new rules is the person device policy. This new rule means that students can’t bring any headphones, earphones, or watches of any sort to school. Also phones cannot be used during lunch time. They can only be used during passing periods.
4 10th grade students were asked questions about what they look forward to in the new school year, and they said the look forward to the sports, seeing piers, and to early dismissals on Fridays. They were also asked about the new device rules, some of them said they don’t like the new rule, but they understand why it is enforced. They also wish they could wear headphones.
All in all, I think this year looks to be a very good school year. With new staff coming into Northland, they hope to make this a better place and have a better environment.
